LIBRARY NEWS Mrs. Meier has taught at Weatherford High School for many years.  She has been the Library Media Specialist at WHS for since 2004.  Mrs. Meier has also taught 9th - 12th English and newspaper at Weatherford.  She has 2 degrees from Southwestern Oklahoma State University--Bachelors in English/Art Education and Masters of Education.  She is also certified (24 hours from UCO) as a library media specialist.

Mrs. Meier's husband, Gene, and 4 children graduated from Weatherford Schools, and she went to grade school in Weatherford.

Mrs. Meier's goal for a successful library is to buy books that high school students and teachers like to read. She reads teen books and adult books voraciously and takes requests from students and teachers.
