We are closely monitoring weather reports and want to work with families as they make decisions on what is best for their child. Currently, our plan is to maintain our regular school schedule and dismiss at the normal release time. Students and staff that are at the school will all have a safe place if concerning weather arises.
We do understand that some families may prefer to pick up their child early. We also understand that your child may normally ride the bus, but you want to pick them up today. If this is the case, please let our offices know early so that we aren’t making last minute changes.
Your child's safety is our top priority and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our processes efficient and effective during these times.

In April, 1st grade and Kindergarten students had the opportunity to partake in an ATV Safety program. This is a program that Bethany Children’s Health Center offers for free for local Health & Physical Education classes. Thank you Mike Klumpp for taking the time to visit with our students and teach them the importance’s of ATV safety!
Burcham held a retirement party for Daneille Schmidt. 23 years of loving and teaching children! Mrs. Schmidt has been Kim O’Daniel’s assistant the past several years in Pre-K🍎❤️ Thank you Mrs. Schmidt for your hard work and dedication to our students over the years! You will be missed at Burcham!
Today is National School Principals’ Day❤️❤️
Burcham Elementary would like to give a BIG SHOUTOUT to our 2 principals Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Svitak. These ladies work so hard to lead our school each school day!! We appreciate your dedication and hard work! Thank you for all that you do for our students and staff on a daily basis.

The Oklahoma Children’s Theatre presented a show called Oklahoma’s Own. The show was an interactive performance about the State of Oklahoma.
Also Kindergarten and 1st Grade students participated in a coloring contest. BancFirst chose a winner from each grade. The winners were Serenity Pike (Kindergarten) and Adaline Machalicek (1st Grade).

The Burcham Bonanza is coming up next Friday, April 26th for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students! We will need volunteers to help run each station that day. A sign-up sheet for volunteers has been sent home with each KG and 1st Grade student.

Weatherford Eagles, are your little eaglets ready to start school?? If your child will be turning 4 on/before September 1, 2024 we invite you to complete our Pre-K enrollment survey for the 2024-2025 school year!

Burcham’s Dub Town Little Eagles attended Special Olympics in Yukon last week!
Join us in supporting a former student battling cancer by donating to our coin drive. Every penny counts, and your contribution can make a huge difference. A collection bucket will be found in each WPS school front office. Donations are accepted from April 15th - April 19th. Thank you for your support!
Fun is being had at the Burcham Carnival. Come play games until 8:15 tonight.
Phillip and Shelly Martinson at SWOSU gave an introduction of musical instruments through a music concert to the Pre-K students.
