Reminder: WPS will not be accepting any Valentine related deliveries of items to the school sites on Valentine's Day for any students or staff.

There has been an update to the basketball times for tonight’s games. The varsity girls game will start at 6:00pm (not 6:30pm). The youth cheer participants will have their performance during halftime of the varsity girls game. Please remember to have your child wear their youth cheer shirt, black shorts/leggings/sweats and tennis shoes. Pre-k through 1st grade will meet up at the upstairs breezeway/staircase on the northeast side of the gym and the 2nd through 6th grade will meet at the southwest breezeway/staircase. Please head to the designated location 2 minutes before halftime.

Great job to our WHS Winter Guard! They traveled to Putnam City to compete in their first competition ever!


WHS Basketball - Game time changes for tomorrow vs Tuttle….SENIOR NIGHT! JV boys at 5:00, Varsity girls at 6:00, Varsity boys immediately following around 730ish. Senior players and parents need to be downstairs at the gym at 530p. Senior Night will still take place before the Varsity girls game! 🦅

GAMEDAY for the Eagle basketball teams. They are headed to Chickasha. The girls game is scheduled to start at 6pm with the boys game following. *No J.V. games will be played.

Due to slick and hazardous road conditions, Weatherford Public Schools will be closed today.

We are excited to have students back tomorrow after the three day weekend! Please have your student dress in layers as the bitterly cold temperatures are forecasted for at least one more day.

January is School Board Recognition Month. We are certainly thankful for our Weatherford School Board members and their willingness to serve our students, staff and community.


Today four 6th grade students represented Weatherford Public Schools at the state capitol celebrating the kickoff of the new Bessie Coleman All-Star Aviation Program. Weatherford is one of only three districts in the state to be piloting this program this spring. Weatherford Public Schools continues to be on the forefront of exciting opportunities in aviation and aerospace for its students!
